The message was clear: they want David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady out of their club and Kaveh Solhekol wrote a column about the owners that was published by Sky Sports on Wednesday.
Within the column, he claims that he doesn’t buy the claims that Sullivan is using West Ham for his own financial gain, and looked at the emotional side of everything for the 71-year-old, but Hammers fans have no sympathy.
They feel that Sullivan and his colleagues have brought anything that comes their way on themselves, as one fan pointed out by saying “some people create their own storms then cry when it rains”.
With that in mind, they don’t feel that they should be painted as the victims and encouraged them to leave the club.
Is life under Gold and Sullivan really that bad? Maybe this quiz will change your minds, West Ham fans…
This comes after a plethora of problems that have arisen during their tenure, most notably the fact that they oversaw the move from Upton Park to London Stadium, with no upturn in fortunes on the pitch, as signified by the team currently avoiding the relegation zone on goal difference.
Some fans have taken the column as a positive, seeing this as a sign that “the protests are working”, with one suggesting that “they are rattled”.
These Hammers simply want the board out of their club, and have been doing their utmost to peacefully go about making that happen this term.
As well as the march against Southampton, fans released black balloons during the 3-2 loss at Anfield, as reported by football.london, among other protests.
Meanwhile, West Ham fans were thrilled by one man’s comment.
