The official Paris 2024 social media account shared a video complete with the message: "Who better than a Gunners coach to light the Olympic cauldron. Today, Arsene Wenger carried the Olympic Flame to his native lands… in Strasbourg."

The video from the Games' official account came complete with the underground rap song by 'The Away Boyz' titled 'Arsene Wenger' – a love song aimed at the manager who guided the Gunners to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup successes.
