As reported by The Sun, Everton are interested in signing Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen this summer, after an impressive season in the English Championship.
What’s the story?
With the arrival of Marco Silva ahead of the 2018/19 season, Everton are expected to have a busy transfer window as he looks to refresh a squad which severely under performed last term.
One player on the ex-Watford boss’ radar is Jarrod Bowen, who he worked briefly with back when he was boss of Hull City.
The Sun report that the Toffees are preparing a £12m bid for the player, who at 21 years old is showing excellent potential towards becoming a Premier League calibre talent.

Who is he?
Still just 21 years of age, 2017/18 was Bowen’s breakout season, having made just a handful of professional appearances prior to last year. He excelled on the right wing for Hull, winning the club’s player of the year awards, in both the players’ and fans’ categories.
That was mainly in part due to his goalscoring prowess, netting 15 times in all competitions for the Tigers, also contributing three assists.
That’s a fantastic return for a player at his age playing his first regular week-to-week football and demonstrates the potential he holds.
At the reported £12m, he’s more than worth a punt from Everton, with little risk and lots of rewards attached to the prospective transfer.
With the Toffees needing more spark in the final third, Bowen’s youthful enthusiasm could be just what they need.
