Tottenham fans have been discussing the possibility of signing a centre back in January, and a whopping 100 per cent of fans have voted to sign Benjamin Pavard.

Tottenham have been linked with several centre backs already this season, and the hamstring injury to Jan Vertonghen has only increased the speculation.

Manchester United’s Eric Bailly has been heavily linked with a move to North London, while Ajax wonderkid Matthijs de Ligt could be a long-term replacement for either one of Tottenham’s Belgian pair.

Pavard could be the perfect signing however, as the young Frenchman’s versatility means Mauricio Pochettino could switch seamlessy from a back four to a back three.

The 22 year-old starred as a right back for France’s World Cup winning team, but has continued his sensational form as a centre back for Stuttgart.

He is winning over three aerial duels per game in the Bundesliga, while also averaging a whopping 9.6 clearances per game.

He could potentially replace Toby Alderweireld if the Belgian does not renew his contract, and every single Tottenham fan that voted in our poll said they would like to sign Pavard next year.
